yo im going through the exact same thing right now. the girl of my dreams and i were together for 9 months. i had been friends with her for about a year before. then we ended up together. the nine months was great. absolutely amazing. sure it had its moments, but every relationship does. then i fell into that comfort zone, where i didnt realize how bad of a boyfriend i was being because i was working all the time and i would be exhausted, and she tuned me out because of it. we just broke up 2 1/2 weeks ago and were still talking but, she seeing another dude, who was a shoulder to cry on when she thought that i didnt love her anymore. we had a place together and i moved into my boys extra room. now she doesnt want to stay there by herself so she may move in with him. weve talked and she seems like the breakup isnt what she wanted but, she also seems like she likes the new guy somewhat if shes willing to move into his house right after we broke up. but i can tell that she does still love me, and i want my fuckin girl back. she has until the 1st of january to decide if shes gonna move. i dont know what to do. i feel like if she does move into his house, it’ll be too late for us to try in the future. what can i do to convince her not to move into this douchebox’s house?
Remember; do not talk about the relationship during this date. Just talk about the things going on in your life and ask them about their life. And you actually have to have something going on in your life to talk about. You cannot tell them how you spend all night yesterday watching reruns of Jersey Shore in your bed. This is another reason why completing Step 2 is so important.
My girl and I had been trying to figure out something to do for New Years. Her friends had asked what we were going to do, and I through out the idea of going to Atlantic City, in which they politely declined. Than I figured, what the hell, let us just go, and she started to say how she isn’t going to have the money for it since she will be heading to Michigan with family for the holidays and wouldn’t be working. While she I was away, all I could think about was ringing in the New Year with her for the first time. Things have been perfect. I have never been happier. She brightens up my world.

The dramatic turn around of our marriage is astounding. I decided to put together this site to share my experiences and the products I used that helped me so much. I’ve also collected an assortment of articles that make some interesting reading. But if you are serious about fixing your relationship, internet articles won’t do the trick. You absolutely must  invest the very small amount of money (about 1/3 of the cost of a first visit to a marriage counselor) to get proven, professional, expert advice that the products I recommend will give you. Your marriage is worth it. Don’t short change yourself.
I fell in love a few months ago, this man i believe to be my soul mate. Im 43 years old never married because I never thought i had met the right man until he came along. I thought he felt the same, often he would look at me and say “i cant believe you are here with me”. I met his family a couple weeks ago and then he went away with a friend for two weeks. He came back and told me he couldnt be with me. He said it was partly due to my job, that he would worry about me too much and that i didnt look after myself health wise. This being i didnt eat properly, im a shift worker its not always possible to eat healthy. Two weeks ago he was telling me he missed me and talked about travelling together, he was always worried i would get bored with him. Now he has left me because of things that may never happen. What can i do. This man has my hart . How can a man go from so caring loving, telling you hes so thankful to have you in his life to , we wont work out.

My boyfriend and I have been together for about five years. In December we got into an argument because I thought he was ignoring my plans I had with my family. We normally see family together during the holidays so I expected him to be on point. Anyway, I was about to leave and asked him what’s on his agenda and he just ignored me. I got mad and cursed him out and left. Days after I text to find out why he was ignoring me and he did not reply. Some time passed and he then said we need some space because I constantly curse him out and he is tired of it. He said that I am jealous and insecure which is a recurring theme in our arguments. Weeks passed and we just cordial over the phone. I tried not to be clingy because he said that we have to learn to be friends and give each other space in order to try and repair the relationship. He visited me in January and we talked somewhat and ended up sleeping together. We were cordial for a couple days and he kept saying how much he loves me and wants to have a family with me. I then asked if that means that we are back together and he said we never broke up but we still need space. Some time passed and we kept sending each other messages and stuff. I really missed him and asked when are we going to be out of this phase and he said as long as it takes for me to fix my ways. I told him that he has things to work on too. He said he knows he is not perfect but we keep fighting over the same things and he is tired of it. Recently he came to see me and brought an unexpected gift. I thought he was going to stay but he did not. I wanted him so badly that I slept with him. A few days after I asked about seeing him for Valentines Day and he said “why did we break up again?” I said “You said we were not broken up” He said that we still need space. I said I was confused because he keeps sending me messages about missing me and wanting to be with me and we are intimate but yet we are “just friends for now”. Mind you, when we text it is not about anything sexual. If he sees where a conversation is headed that way he stops it. Now we got into a huge fight over the phone because I said I do not know what he wants from me and I am fed up of waiting. He said talking to me is pointless because I do not get where he is coming from. I told him that he does not get where I am coming from either and I will just leave him alone. He said that he does not give a f#$% and that I should do what I want to because he is not getting through to me. I try to understand him honestly I do but I do not think he sees it. I love him with all my heart but I fear this is it for us. Sigh. Any advice?
For example, I’m not an office worker. I have an incredibly hard time working in a confined timeline (ie. 9-5). That’s why I write. I can do it whenever the mood strikes, I don’t have somebody breathing down my neck, telling me that I’m five minutes late, or missed a comma somewhere. I don’t have to walk on eggshells wondering if what I’m writing will get me fired or make me lose a promotion. I can just be myself, period.

Regardless of how a relationship ends, all breakups result in the same thing: Every guy on the planet -- seriously, every f*cking guy -- will wait until their exes have moved on from their relationships to want their exes back. This fact is so universally predictable that women anticipate and LIVE for the day when they have moved on and feel unaffected by their ex-boyfriends' efforts to win back their love. We basically fantasize about it.

My story illustrates the power of working on yourself, of being your best self, of being in a happy, settled place before you enter into a relationship. The reason my husband doesn’t know what shifted is that it wasn’t a tangible thing. It was my vibe and my energy. I changed a lot from the beginning of the summer to the end, I did a lot of important inner work and I genuinely loved myself and was happy with my life. That’s the kind of energy that draws people in. That’s what makes people see you in a different light.
In the beginning when you first started dating your ex, things were probably wonderful. You established deep emotional bonds and everything felt amazing. You couldn’t wait to spend time together, and you got butterflies in your stomach every time you thought about her. It’s not that hard to get those feelings back. You can get your ex-girlfriend to remember the past fondly and want to get back to that time again. This time you can make things better and move forward in a healthy, positive relationship.

Hi Natasha! You’re awesome! My boyfriend broke up with me, and I’m feeling terrible… my question is, my bf was not a narcissist.. I made mistakes and I started to pushing him because he lived with his mother, he is 39… and I’m 31 and I didn’t felt his priority, we had plans to get married, I’m applying no contact since he broke up with me, I didn’t begged him and I was calm, that was almost a month ago and he hasn’t reach me…. do you think that this works for a man who is not a narcissist? He is not a bad guy.
However, even Michael admits you shouldn’t just rush out and start texting your ex, “First of all, you should leave a 30 day gap before starting to use Text Your Ex Back (or any program for that matter.) Even if you’ve been broken up for a while, if you’re in contact with your ex, you should leave a full month where you don’t talk to him/her at all. From there it’s a matter of accumulating “little wins” with your ex.”The “little wins” Michael talks about are things like just getting your ex to respond and then having a conversation over text that YOU end first. From there’s it’s just a matter of following Michael’s proven formula and developing a new relationship with your ex over time.
NOTE: YOUR mate value/perceived superiority is as high as your behavior makes it, and is only partially related to your job, income, looks etc. This is why no guy reading this has any excuse for not being able to become the kind of guy his ex wants for a relationship. You CAN become that guy (again), and I’m happy to teach you how. Begin the process with my chances of getting your ex back quiz. Your results page will then guide you further from there on what to do to get this girl back.

Apply the love languages. That is, in your interactions with each other, try to use the other person's love language to show that you care. If your partner's love language is service, try doing little things around the house to show you care or try taking his or her car to the wash. If your partner's love language is time, make sure to figure out ways to spend more time with the person on a regular basis.[32]
Here is where he gets to see the beautiful woman you are in person. He gets to witness your positive vibe and new and improved look in the flesh. Like the reach out stage, there are no “rules” here. The light and fun vibe you brought to the conversations you’ve previously had should shine through just as bright. If your positive vibe is derived from genuine positive thoughts and emotions, interacting with him should be easy and effortless.
i will like to share my testimony to you all.i just got married to my husband about a year ago we start having problems at home like we stop sleeping on the same bed, fighting about little things he always comes home late at night, drinking too much and sleeping with other women out side.i have never love any man in my life except him.he is the father of my children and i don't want to loose him because we have worked so hard together to become what we are and have today.few month ago he now decided to live me and the kid, being a single mother can be hard sometimes and so i have nobody to turn to and i was heart broken.i called my mom and explain every thing to her,my mother told me about LORD NOBEL how he helped her solve the problem between her and my dad i was surprise about it because they have been without each other for three and a half years and it was like a miracle how they came back to each other.i was directed to LORD NOBEL and explain everything to him,so he promise me not to worry that he will cast a spell and make things come back to how we where so much in love again and that it was another female spirit that was controlling my husband.he told me that my problem will be solved within two days if i believe i said OK.So he cast a spell for me and after two days my love came back asking me to forgive him.i Am so happy now. so that why i decided to share my experience with every body that have such problem contact him on
So, now that you know what changes you need to make physically lets talk about arguably the harder thing to improve, your mental state. One of the biggest assets about the no contact period is that it gives you time to calm down a bit from the mental tension that was your breakup. This section is going to be all about how to get through your breakup and heal emotionally. However, in order for that to happen you need to take a few actions first.
However she has a boyfriend that they have been together for about a year and a half. He treats her like shit, talks to her like shit and to top it off he is a fat sweaty nerd! OK here is the kicker- She is a former Texans cheerleader. She is beautiful, and Im not a bad looking guy! I have recently kicked my “bad Habbit” but she is still with this geek and I for the life of me cant figure out why she wont leave this jerk. She is my best friend.
Love should never hurt it should be the one thing thst makes you happy. If she is talking down to you for no apparent reason then she is not the one for you. If she can’t see thst you are in her corner and love her unconditional then it’s time to move on. Wasting time is not a good look especially when yoy are young. I thought thst i could not get over my ex but I am living and making the best of the situation everyday.
This is when I felt like I really met Mary. I wasn’t angry, I wasn’t jealous, and I wasn’t distracted—I had a clear mind, and I loved her. She was the kind of girl I’d always call back, and always take out for dates, and always hold hands with. She’s the kind of girl I never want to be away from. I’d seen what life looked like without Mary (cue damp Jimmy Stewart shouting “Mahhhhrrrrrryyyyy, don’t you remember me Mary?” in It’s a Wonderful Life), and I had a new appreciation for her. I loved the person she had turned into: She had built a life for herself in New York and was the person I know she always wanted to be—she grew her bangs out, too, which I guess is a big thing for women?

Then and there, don't analyze, argue or talk about negative stuff. Turn the page. Keep walking in a new direction. It's your ex-boyfriend that will become your new girlfriend, it's you – his ex-girlfriend, that will become a new girlfriend. Give each other a clean slate. When you leave the place, don't kiss. Give him a deep gaze, let your eyes, not your mouth say: I love you.
AND REMEMBER THIS: Guys want what they can’t have, it’s human nature. Recognize that it’s not you he wants, it’s the control that he wants because you’ve disarmed his power source (his ego. Deep down he’s an insecure ninny). You show him what you’re made of and introduce him to the girl that he never got a chance to meet: The one that doesn’t have time for the likes of him or ANYONE that treats her in a less-than manner.
Well i can totally understand what your going through, well i can honestly say if you two have some serious history… and the two of your REALLY love each other give him his space and time he will be back! Me being a guy ive been there a man can date 100 girls but there is only one you! Remember that :) You have to trust him that he knows what hes doing but at the same time DONT PUT YOUR LIFE ON HOLD! He needs to see that your are a sexy confident woman and all most important emotional stable to move on BUT keeping the door cracked for him just in case. In the mean time go to the gym get a new cut change your wardrobe and start flirting not sleeping with every guy! But just start dating movies, drinks ect and start to introduce yourself back in his face indirectly he needs to see you out having the time of your life looking like a movie start with “Mr someone else” guys HATE to see something they let go with someone else looking AMAZING it KILLS us and he will come for you TRUST ME! Follow this and im sure he will get his sh** together and come to you. When he does dont welcome him with open arms… MAKE HIM WORK FOR IT! if he wants to see you make him wait a week make sure the date last only 30mins a lunch date is perfect again make sure you take his breath away once again… be nice but not to much to say “I want you back” even though you do… you have to make him chase you :) it works when you leave tell him it was nice seeing him and “To take care” dont mention that you want to see him! Almost 99% sure hes gonna be the one to say “So when can i see you again” JACKPOT! Now your fish is on the hook! not play your cards right YOU now have the power again ;)
When people explain to me why they stay in unsatisfactory relationships long past the point where family and friends and everyone else encourage them to leave, they often say, “I love him/her.” I know that that is the real reason. Love has evolved as a powerful device to keep people together despite any defect or deficiency of a partner. Nature requires them to stay together long enough to have children. But it is not a good reason. As more or less rational animals, we can make decisions that promote our own individual interests. People who are capable of falling in love once can fall in love again and again if that first relationship breaks apart. The issue each person has to decide in the midst of a bad marriage or a bad affair is whether it is possible to be happy in that relationship—and, really, whether it is possible to be happier with someone else. Unfortunately, the alternative that occurs to many is not another partner, it is loneliness.

Me an my boyfriend been on and off for months! He’s family was extremely interfering and very nosey! We met 9 months ago and dated for 8 an half months. We had arguements over his family alot. And both out jealousy and insecurity. I know it’s sounds crazy but we agreed to be friends but we still love eachother. An I’m wondering if that’s all we are ever going to be now. I need to cut ties to move on in literally begging him to give me another chance but of course his family have to stick their nose in! But if I got back with him I just ignore them and tolerate them! I’m not bothered about them. I just want my man back. I love him he loves me why can’t they just butt out and stop interfering? Sounds nasty but if I don’t get him back I hope he meets a really horrible girlfriend in the future who treats him like crap. And stops him seeing his friends. For three weeks he messed me round saying we was just seeing eachother an his family hated it. UNTILL his mom shouted in my face on the webcam then he took his moms side an called it off. So now were just friends and not seeing him as almost killed me. I wish now I had of never bothered and stopped on my own!
im doing the same thing you’ll do now your not alone i know it hurts but that what u should do, let him lose you and thinks hes a failure dont allow him to think he can play with your feelings, your not his toy if he cant decide what he wants then leave him to grom up and make decisions in life, hes immature and you did the right thing your so smart of going no contact and standing on what you want bravo, now do not let him take advantage and decide what he wants do what you want, you want him as a bf he didnt respect that he wants friends you dont so bye to him and lifes always comes around believe me one day he’ll come begging to have you back.
It's important to not just talk, but to listen and hear what your partner has to say about what's going on in your relationship.[5] You can show you're listening by summarizing what your partner has to say to show you've understood what he or she has said. You can also ask questions that show you've heard what the person has said and that you want to know more.
I love him. How much i want this to work. Please better our communication and help me to not lash out destructively and instead learn to control my emotions. Please allow me to heal from any hurt as well as heal him of any of my wrongdoings. Please St. Jude I need you now more than ever, I do not want to give up on this man. I pray he doesn’t give up on me and instead allow us to have another chance to make one another better. Please I beg of you. I do not want to start something new, this has too much potential to be great. I plead we have another opportunity to love each other wholeheartedly with no temptation.
Whats your opinion in all this? Do you text/call or not? What is going thru his mind about this girl that he’s known for 1.5 months that he doesn’t hang out with, he only texts her he says but they have a “connection”. I don’t see any girls commenting or liking things on his Facebook but when I’m around and his phone is around he’s quick to make sure he doesn’t leave it or I don’t go thru it.
First, let’s make one thing clear: just because your partner is exhibiting a couple of the behaviours that I just talked about doesn’t mean that they’re definitely planning to file for divorce. It may simply be that these are indicators of trouble ahead in your marriage. But if you’ve seen several of these indicators in your spouse recently, and you’re feeling that things aren’t on track with your marriage, I encourage you to act to turn things around now before matters get any worse.
This tactic may be a little harder to implement because it can sometimes depend on the situation that your ex is currently in. Basically you are going to bring up a stressful event very gently and show that you are going to be supportive no matter what with NO STRINGS ATTACHED. This has to be completely genuine otherwise you are better off not saying anything at all.
Another year goes by. It was summer and I was having the time of my life. I decided to take a break from dating and focus on myself. Then I ran into him in Central Park on a Saturday afternoon. At last, he was single and I was single, we were both living in NYC, now was the time. But he didn’t contact me after that. So I decided to contact him. I sent him a friendly message on Facebook and opened the door wide for him to ask me out… but he didn’t take my expertly laid out bait.
There is a notion out there that relationships are hard and filled with struggle. And while I concede that there will be times when disagreements will arise or less than pleasurable situations may happen that need to be dealt with, that’s not the kind of struggle I’m talking about. I’m talking about the notion that there needs to be a tug of war between two people … that you need to try with all your might and then maybe the guy will see the light and come over to your side.
Consider trying to save it if your significant other wants to. Maybe you're the one who is on the verge of giving up on the relationship, but your partner wants to keep trying. If you've been together for a long time, it might be worth giving it your all to try to save it. It might be possible to see your partner's love for you and have faith that even though you're going through a rough time right now, things can get better. Weigh the options and see if it's worth it to you to try for the sake of your partner.
My girl broke up with me over 3 months ago, i did the no contact and contact her after 30 days and we caught up for coffee. We have been going on couple dates but recently she has been dating another guy. She still has feelings she says but does not want to jeopardize her new relationship because she is afraid of the other guy finding out that she is still talking and hanging with her ex. what can you conclude?

Need some advice here, my ex girlfriend/ girlfriend just broke it off after a night at the bar. The night started out with a romantic dinner and then we met her friends out at the bar.. We both had a great night until after bar close when we were trying to decide on what we were going to all do the rest of the night.. We ended up getting in an argument about something, to be honest I don’t remember, and she just told me to go home. She proceeded to walk away with her and a few of her guy friends so naturally I got upset. I contemplated on what to do and them decided to walk to her place.. That was obviously not a good decision, when I got there I got upset and accused her of not wanting to be with me and she went on to say that I followed her he and was stalking her which was not my intent at all.. After going back and forth I just flat out asked if we were over and if she even wanted to be with me and she responded no I don’t want to be. I then immediately started to try and plead with her and ask her why and kept trying to get her to talk to me about it and all she did was tell me to leave and go home, which I did after waiting for a cab for an hour.. On the way home in the cab I was so damn upset and sent her a text message that she didn’t care about me and that I was easily replaced by by one of her guy friends that was at her place with everyone.. She responded with what r u talking about and I then responded with I know your sleeping with him I could tell how lit up your face was when you looked at him and then told her one more time that she was going to sleep with him.. She responded back by saying she wasn’t and that I’m crazy. About a half hour goes by and she text me back that she misses me and said that she was getting a cab to come over.. So she came over and apologized for being a brat and apologized for the night.. I then asked her why she got so mad and she said she didn’t remember.. So I let it be figured we would talk in the morning about it, so we had sex and went to bed. The next morning comes and I try to talk to her and she said she didn’t want to talk about it so I did what I shouldn’t have and prayed at her a little bit to get her to talk and she flipped out and said I just want to go home so asked her again do you even want to be with me and she said I don’t know. I brought her home and when I dropped her off I asked if I could have a kiss and we kissed and she said ill talk to you later.. She finally got back to me 14 hrs later and said that she didn’t feel good and had been sleeping all day which I guess I can understand after a full night of drinking.. I did send her a text and left her a voicemail saying how torn up and confused I am about everything but didn’t say it in a demanding way at all.. The next day I sent her another message in the afternoon asking her if she would have time to talk in person and she said yea.. Being absolutely heartbroken at this point I decided to make her a huge bouquet of flower along with a handwritten card apologizing for everything that happened.. I brought them over to her place and she was still sleeping saying she didn’t feel good so I just dropped th off and we agreed to talk tomarow about things.. I’m just so confused right now, I know we have only been seeing each other for 2 months but I don’t understand how things coul end like they did I have been in this 100%and treat her like an absolute queen.. What should I so here I don’t want to loose this girl she is absolutely one of a kind and I genuinely care for her
I say all that to make the point that AS face-to-face is how getting a girl back generally happens, you’ll thus need to set up a meet with your ex during the course of your texting or calling sessions. You can’t skip directly TO that part, because you first need to build some positive vibes so that she actually WANTS to meet up when you ask her to, but inviting her to meet IS something that you’ll need to do once she’s enjoying the conversation.
According to research, the number one cause of the breakup of romantic relationships is failure to communicate. If your relationship was otherwise happy, this problem can often be fixed by setting clear expectations and openly discussing frustrations before things explode in a big fight. Other issues can be harder to overcome, like infidelity or jealousy; but with work and counseling, even these types of issues are possible to work through.
He broke up with me a week ago over the phone. We were together for 7 months and had a deep connection. I have not contacted him since. Yesterday I received a text from him explaining why he did it and apology. Pretty much he is not over his divorce, has health issues, dealing with work problems, trying to work on a relationship with his kids and now is not a good time and not fair to me to continue the relationship. Should I respond or keep no contact for 30 days? Or should I acknowledge the text and respond?
She texts me saying she cant talk and to meet her at her locker at the end of the day to “Talk”. Im not stupid. I knew what was going to happen. And sure enough when i went to talk to her. She told me that she didnt want me to be dating a girl that wasnt gonna give me what i wanted… even though i clearly told her i didnt care. I tried explaining myself. Trying everything in my will to not lose something that was so perfect just 24 hours before this had happened. I want to tell her how i really feel seeing as this talk took less than a minute and im not taking it very well. Hard to concentrate in school and life just sucks without her in it. Im not fully reliant on her but it was such a good thing. til i asked her.
Okay so me & my ex boyfriend broke up like a couple months ago. Me and him have been dating for over a year. Ever since we got into high school he changed. He’s like every other guy now. During our relationship, he would cry when I left or if I took the bracelet he gave me off. I just really want him back, I still do love him. I honestly need to know what to do. Help me please
Are you ready to hear what you least want to deal with? When you try to address an issue and, as noted above, it isn’t the real issue, it can feel like you’ve been hit with a ton of bricks when the real issue does emerge. For example, a husband or a wife engages in lots of activities away from home. You, as the spouse left at home, believe the problem is your mate doesn’t spend enough time with you and is inconsiderate. And that may very well be true. Sometimes we spread ourselves too thin making commitments to others, and our marriages get neglected as a result. But, there could be another reason. Are you ready to hear that why your spouse is gone so much may be because of you? Do you criticize rather than complain? Which do you find easier to say: “You never spend time with me,” or “We don’t spend time together like we used to.” It doesn’t take much to turn a complaint about something into a criticism of someone. In fact, it is one of the easiest things to do. It can happen unconsciously, and easily become habitual. One result is that the person criticized may start distancing him-/herself from the critic. Now this is only one example of what a real, hidden issue might be. Yours may be different. (In my case, both of us contributed to the real problem, though at the time we thought the other was the problem.) Realizing that you may be the cause of your marital problems can be gut-wrenching. Are you ready to face that possibility?
You are so amazing and spot on and absolutely gorgeous! Excellent article!! Want to brief you with my situation. Dated a guy 5 yrs ago went on 6 dates and we connected well but I never had sex with him. He made all the effort but he’s a business guy and I was a student And he ended things since I was demNding for his time. We got back a year after and same situation. Now I’m a working surgeon grown woman. After 5 years he sends me a text on this year Valentine’s. I just got out of a relationship then. We decided to meet and it was my bday that week. He bought me a Chanel bag and took me more shopping. Had dinner at my favourite French place. Stayed in a suite. We had sex for the first time ever. Was nice and intimate. Since then he texts me everyday 3 times a day and made plans to meet me again in 2 weeks. I live 4 hrs away so he came to see me last weekend. I arranged a lovely suite on the beach and we went out for lunch played golf. He texted me saying he appreciated the effort I made and had a good time. After that he’s been distant. Not as much flirting. Btw he has a 2 yr old son he’s busy with. Single dad and has a nanny over the week. Weekends he’s full time dad. Anyways i texted him yesterday we flirted a bit. Made little small talk and he was busy traveling. Asked him he’s been bit mellow and is everything ok with work? He said all good thanks. He did say he hAs a lot of work to be done before his trip next week…No more good morning msgs or night msgs. He’s making a trip to Dubai next week with his son so surely won’t hear from him for a week. But the day before he was leaving I sent a text saying hey just wanted to know as we are adults and be honest with each other. If I’m going to invest on time and according to your busy schedule and being a single dad and if I’m going to wait for you to come back from the trip, do you want to be exclusive and date or date casually as sex buddies? So he answered saying Hey, firstly i’m sorry if my yummy mummy comments upset you – they were never intended that way.

I am devastated and lost. My ex and I met freshman year of college. He was always so into me more than I was into him. He was absolutely in love with me, I was his life line. He was so serious in seeing me as his life partner, his future and everything. He made it known that if we were ever to end it would be because I ended it, not him. I see where things got unhealthy–he always wanted to spend time with me mostly and we did spend all of our time together. This school semester he became more busy with schoolwork and practice, and we clearly spent less time together. Our lives became more routine together, because he still lived in my dorm and we got every meal together. We started having more problems because I was not the happiest with him. I would call him out on things he did that showed less interest in me because I was upset we were not spending as much time together. In addition, he became very hurt when he did not get into a social club on campus, because he suddenly felt like he had no friends and was not cool. One day while fighting, he decided he wanted to break up. This is the person who absolutely swore to never do such a thing, and even though in the past we were in positions where this could have occurred, we never actually ended things–we worked through them. When i reflect i seee that he believed all of a sudden we were spending too much time together, made too many controls together, and that he was missing social opportunities. However, this is the hole he made for himself because he wanted us together and did not care for others. I believe that the rejection from the club and him being annoyed with my behavior led him to believe he is no longer in love with me. He says he loves me more than anything, but does not feel the same way. I convinced him to try to feel emotions for me again, so the past month we continued the meals and living togetehr, but he would never kiss me on the lips and became distant. Then finally he broke up with me and said that he just wants to be single and is not in a place for a relationship right now. How do I handle this? I want him back, and I want everything we had back. He said he wants to be bestfriends, but I said no I cannot and that I want no communication, but we have not exactly had no communication because he texted me today a week later asking if I could help him financially and that he will give the money back as soon as he can (I told him to ask others first because this is disrespectful and then i would if otehrs couldnt, because he said he doesnt know who else to go to). I assumed he would come back to me, and it would show him that he needs me, but he says he found someone else to help him. How do I get him back? We have one class together a week.

My boyfriend and I broke up about a week ago, this article really kinda helped, when we broke up he was always hanging out with his friend while I was working my but off, and then when I didn’t have to work he would ignore me all the time, when he was with his friend. And while he was with me he would be glued to his phone texting his friend. It drove me crazy, and I got really jealous about it, the day before we broke up we had made plans earlier in the week to go out to dinner and see a movie that had just come out and I wanted to see it. I woke up that morning to him texting his friend, and he told me that we were going to see this movie, (the complete opposite one that I wanted to see) and it started at 7. Of course naturally I got mad about it. I asked him why he changed the plans, and he said that’s the only movie that Dana could see (his friends girlfriend) and I got even more mad, because it was supposed to be a day with just us, but I let it go because he came up to me and hugged me and said I love you. on the way to dinner he said “I don’t really feel like seeing a movie today so why do we all go do something with people” inside I was annoyed, but I didn’t let it show. After dinner we were going to hang out with people and he said I think I’m going over to my friends house tonight, and go over to yours tomorrow, I asked him why when today was my day off and I closed tomorrow, he said well he wants me to help him finish this project, (this made upset me because I work full time and only get to see him a couple times out of the week) I told him why your always with him, and today is my only day off. he got mad and said I just wont hangout with him anymore, and I said no don’t do that you can still hang out with him but this is my only day to do stuff, that night he ended up lying to me saying he was going home and the ended up going to his friends, then the next day he lied to me saying he was going over there cause he didn’t last night and then later that night we broke up, And the next day he met with me to give each other our stuff back and he said, this is only temporary until I get a job, we can still hang out and talk and stuff, and after that, he has barely said anything to me, we hung out once and then he started fooling around with me and I shouldn’t of done it but I couldn’t help it I was with him for over a year almost two, and after that he barley said a word to me, and he and started lying to me more and more and now I just don’t know what to do, and I talked to him and he said don’t worry Its just temporary I don’t know if he was just saying that to make me feel better or he was really telling the truth. If anyone could help me that would be really appreciated.
You can’t just dive back into the relationship and expect everything to be different this time around. You broke up for a reason, probably several reasons, and those reasons will still be there unless properly dealt with. You can’t do the same thing and expect different results, that’s just insane (literally, I think that’s the actual definition of insanity).
Spend time with good friends. One of the best ways to source yourself is to put yourself in the company of good friends. Good friends remind you of who you really are. They can give you a new perspective on things and can generally be fun to be around. Good friends serve as one of the best distractions as opposed to eating a bucket of ice cream and watching Netflix all alone because they can help to build you up in the meantime and leave you more empowered, stronger, and more in touch with who you are. It might be worth it to define who good friends are.Good friends are friends that help you choose the most useful and empowering interpretation of your situation. They don’t look to blame or help you wallow in self-pity. They have compassion for you, yet believe that you are inherently fine. They remind you of how fun you are and how much life itself has to offer. Spending time with people like this will feed your soul. During this time take advantage of everything these wonderful people in your life have to offer. Plan a trip. See that show you all always wanted to see. Do all the things that make you feel alive and do it in good company.

"The strongest part of any family is wanting to spend the small day-to-day moments together, like going for ice cream or to the park," says Spencer. She's not saying stay together for the kids, but she is suggesting you think twice before you file the divorce papers, breaking up the family. Spencer says ask yourself the following questions: Do you still enjoy doing things together as a family? Do you find that doing things with the kids but without your husband makes you sad? "If you really enjoy spending time together as a family unit, maybe that unit is worth keeping together."

I know.  You are thinking to yourself, “look, I came here to find out the fastest way possible to get my ex boyfriend back where he belongs.  I have to have him back”.  But trust me, things are probably pretty crazy right now if you are just coming out of the breakup, so don’t make it worse by rushing through things, being overly impulsive , and doing or saying something you will regret later.

You know something is wrong if you are always crying or feeling bad about what has happened and you can quite get over it.  You also know it can be frustrating when you can seem to figure out what to text or what to say to your ex bf.  Well, the solution is you can join my Private Facebook Support Group and/or pick up your copy of the Texting Bible and get the emotional support and answers your need.
I have known very rocky relationships that have sorted themselves out over time and then lasted, as far as I could tell, forever. Sometimes, these new beginnings started in the judge’s chambers when the divorce was being finalized. Sometimes afterwards. I have recently come across someone who married the same woman three times—although it is hard to believe that they have, at last, come to terms with each other. In these instances, it is often the case that the couple had not ever really made clear to each other just how strongly they felt about certain things. (They would say at this point that they told the other person a hundred times just what they felt; but I have been witness to some of these conversations, and sometimes I am left not quite understanding how strong their feelings were.)
Don't worry, this is a good thing according to Amy Spencer, author of Meeting Your Half-Orange and a happiness expert focused on how shifting your perspective can change your life. "There are always relationship physics at work — every action has an equal and opposite reaction, right?" she challenges. "So it's important to be able to look at how his behaviors, moods or choices may be impacted by your behaviors or moods or choices. If you are able to cite moments where you unfairly criticized him, behaved poorly, or hurt him first, then you are seeing how your own energy and behavior can be a catalyst to a negative interaction between the two of you." Spencer says that if you shift how you speak or act in certain situations, it could lead to different interactions with your husband. "If you can put yourself in his shoes and see that you've been in the wrong, there's reason to reboot your marriage," says Spencer.
Ask them if they want to save the relationship. If they say yes, tell them (calmly) that you don't feel like they are putting forth the effort. Tell them exactly what you need from them, if possible. Couples counseling might be beneficial in this case. If they don't respond positively that they want to save the relationship, move on. You can't change their mind.
