Me and my girlfriend just broke up yesterday night and on top of that we argued big time that night… I know she really feels for me but we butt heads like crazy and maybe it’s because I don’t like when I know she’s right. We’ve been together for 3 years but it seems like we were rushed into being together because my friends were jealous and a lot of lies were spilled! Eventually me and her pulled each other together because of the chaos. We didn’t get a chance to be friends and like stuff about each other. We didn’t get a chance to be boyfriend and girlfriend. She’s been there for me so much but she think I don’t appreciate because the last 2 years we have argued a LOT! Please help. She wants the old me back, the one she first meet. I need tips on how we can get back together and I’m a better person for her.

Oh, no 🙁 I had a really absurd fight with the best BF I’ve ever had (which is not hard to do, I have dated some serious jerks) and I managed to get him back for a whole week and a half before we got snippy and he suddenly was breaking it off with me. The relationship was long-distance and he wants to be friends, but I just spent a week and a half more making an a** of myself. Is there any redemption? I don’t even know how to do this at a distance (I was going to move there, for the record) and after I was so weak. Argh D:
Thank you for this article :) i really opened mind and thoughts, im still trying to get my ex boyfriend back we lived together for 5 and half months and than he broke up with me, but now that i read this i didnt do anything it said to do, i kept blowing up his phone and getting him pissed at me. And everytime i sent a txt saying sorry he excepted it but than i would go and ruin it and mention the past. He said he wants 2 months of space and i really want to give him that but i get scared that he’s going to forget me and move on. But like it says i need to give him his space and in that time i will work on myself and when we finally meet up i will blow his mind on how sexier i look :) I really do love him and probably will never understand why he broke up with me? It was just ordinary day we had laughs and everything but at the end of the night he gave me the sad news. We did have fights but they were little fights that shouldn’t even have happend. The reason why i think he broke up with me is because were young were both only 19 but he was the one who asked me out and asked me to live with him. I know theres still love there he just needs his space for awhile and in that time i’m going to be doing what it says in this article. Thank you so much you really helped me out a lot :))
Oddly enough, many of my clients were successful in re-establishing contact with their ex boyfriends by simply not even trying.  They didn’t do anything except move forward with their lives, focusing on bettering themselves personally and professionally.  In a way, it is a form of what I call Passive No Contact or Passive Radio Silence.  It works for some people.  They figure that if their boyfriend dropped them, then so be it and instead of becoming dependent and addicted to their ex boyfriend, they choose to embrace other things in their life, doing those things they want to do and accomplish. Then as they focus on those things and have success, often times their ex boyfriends show up realizing they made a huge mistake letting their girlfriend go.
If you want someone back that has done that to you, you need to work on your boundaries and self esteem. I’ve totally been there and I know how you feel. I know it’s hard; you’re not alone. What’s done is done but now it’s time to have your own back, speak with your actions and take care of YOU. You deserve so much more and I know you know it 🙂 xoxoxo
My ex broke up with me about two weeks ago. He says he was tied of arguing. He was saying another girl a couple times but they are no longer talking. He always text me calls me and wants me to hang out with him or stay the night at my place. He text me when I’m at work with xoxo and always says he loves me and is more affectionate toward me now then when we were together. But he still says he dosn’t want a girlfriend right now I’m confused.
Getting dumped sucks and when your boyfriend decides he doesn’t want you anymore it just tears you apart from the inside out. I feel for you but don’t worry because we are going to take a look at your breakup and figure out the best way to approach things. Again, I want to reiterate this point- don’t assume that the reason your ex boyfriend gave you for why he chose to break up is really why he decided to let you go. This may sound a bit mean, but you are going to have to be completely honest with yourself and possibly look at things that may make you uncomfortable.
For real, change yourself for the better; let him see that and he'll want to be part of it. But you won't let him back into your world overnight – even if you really, really want to get him back, don't. You both need some time to appreciate each other for other things then sex. And when the sex does come, it better be mind-blowing. Then again, don't be clingy and don't call him every day after that – love all over again – instead, take your time. Let him think about you and worry a bit.

2) A GF may be the last thing you need. Right now, with where you’re at, you need to reflect a bit and work on YOU. You’re probably still a great guy, you just need time to regroup, gain your strength, clarity and stability back – and frankly by the time you do this, you may not even want the same girl anymore. Once you do, you’ll be able to provide a girl with REAL value, and that’s like a drug to a high-quality woman!
Stop trying to get your ex back if the relationship was toxic or abusive. It might feel temporarily lonely or even boring to be on your own after the end of a tumultuous relationship, but try to ride that feeling out instead of going back to your ex. On again, off again relationships tend to be based on unhealthy patterns that won't go away. Resist the temptation to jump right back in when you know you're better off without him.
Sooo, I reconnected with a girl I knew a couple of decades ago. I had a huge crush on her but both of us were married. I’m not now and spent a lot of time on self improvement, which she gravitated towards as she works her way out of another marriage. After about three months of platonic self help counseling we caved…it was intense for about two months; she started working with a counselor to save the marriage/amicably divorce and suggested I pursue other women for awhile. I backed off, maintaining contact via text/cell about every 3 days; not too heavy subjectwise. Made the mistake of telling her I was doing great without her. After that she shut off contact, and responded to my attempts with a hostile voicemail telling me to stop all contact. I went into no contact mode for two weeks, sent a couple of happy holiday texts, then wrote the no contact letter. A week later her husband comes up and introduces himself, tells me he’s in the middle of his divorce and she’s eligible now but has a boyfriend. I reach out for confirmation and to give her a heads up and ask for a meet and am given a letter with all the nevers (never want to talk to you, never want to see you, never be friends, etc) and threatening to go to the cops over stalking. I know I should cut and run but we got so close in those early months…I don’t want to give that up. I also don’t her throwing the stalking card out to everyone…most of all…don’t want the anger, nor do I understand it. How do I turn this around to platonic at the least and repair it to a couple at best? Yeah I called texted lettered about 20 times in 80 days and maybe drove by her house twice but STALKING? I never raised my voice to this woman.
