2) A GF may be the last thing you need. Right now, with where you’re at, you need to reflect a bit and work on YOU. You’re probably still a great guy, you just need time to regroup, gain your strength, clarity and stability back – and frankly by the time you do this, you may not even want the same girl anymore. Once you do, you’ll be able to provide a girl with REAL value, and that’s like a drug to a high-quality woman!
There is a notion out there that relationships are hard and filled with struggle. And while I concede that there will be times when disagreements will arise or less than pleasurable situations may happen that need to be dealt with, that’s not the kind of struggle I’m talking about. I’m talking about the notion that there needs to be a tug of war between two people … that you need to try with all your might and then maybe the guy will see the light and come over to your side.
Okay so my boyfriend broke up with me because I was transferring to another college while he was being forced to go back to Chicago. When we talked, he told me he was staying a bit longer but he still chooses to go to Chicago, despite that he didn’t really want to break up with me. How do I know if he really wants me back? I still love him, but I don’t want to chase him away.
If you enter “how to get my girlfriend back” into the search criteria of any search engine, you will get a ton of advertisements, starting with flowers and jewelry vendors, and ending with fortune tellers and mediums. Acting on these is silly. If you start buying your girlfriend presents and flowers, trying to get her to love you again, you will never reach a positive outcome. You have to know how to act in this case! Most articles on the Internet that are related to advice on how to get a woman back are nothing but Internet traffic gobblers. They do zero in helping men with their problems!
The second step to getting your ex back is forgiveness. You'll never be able to be together again if you can't forgive each other. Initiate this yourself. Why did you break up? Did you cheat, did he cheat, did the love evaporate, or you got bored, what is it? It doesn't really matter the point is that you give each other a clean slate. Don't talk about what happened in the past with him.
My ex-boyfriend and I just broke up 2 weeks ago. I love him and his little boys so much and i feel heartbroken. We had 8 mounths relationship in witch we lived together…he and I we are another country but had sometime lived with, I think he loves me, despite when he left me he said he like me but he doesn’t love me the same way i do. Is it possible to tell me all this just to make me go away, or to protect me, or I really dunno…
My boyfriend broke up with me yesterday, we´ve been on and off for nearly three years now. We got in a serious relationship last september again BUT i´ve been having problems on letting the past between us go, i feel like me still being sad about things we did towards eachother made me hold back alot of feelings and showing feelings. This has been an issue for him much of the time we spent together, he told me multiple times that he had to see a change in that or else he can´t be with me, he didn´t felt that much love from me even if i really loved him. Each time he nearly broke up with me because he didn´t see a change, i always said that i will change and show more emotions. I really thought i would change but it was harder than i thought. He nearly broke up with me multiple times, but stayed everytime i promised change because he had such strong feelings towards me. Alot of things made me hold back feelings, my own securities, things we did in the past to eachother that was really bad and that my family don´t like him anymore because of things he did.
The common thread that underlies these seven deadly sins is neediness. Neediness is the state of mind that encourages all the above actions. Believing that your ex is the source of your happiness, sense of well-being and/or self-esteem, is the type of thinking that will have you groveling and begging for your ex. Neediness is a state of mind more than a set of behaviors, it just manifests itself in certain actions. It’s a feeling that says: “I need you to respond to me in a certain way in order to feel OK.” (Make sure to read this article for more on neediness and how to prevent it.)
Oddly enough, many of my clients were successful in re-establishing contact with their ex boyfriends by simply not even trying. They didn’t do anything except move forward with their lives, focusing on bettering themselves personally and professionally. In a way, it is a form of what I call Passive No Contact or Passive Radio Silence. It works for some people. They figure that if their boyfriend dropped them, then so be it and instead of becoming dependent and addicted to their ex boyfriend, they choose to embrace other things in their life, doing those things they want to do and accomplish. Then as they focus on those things and have success, often times their ex boyfriends show up realizing they made a huge mistake letting their girlfriend go.
while there were exchanges of hurtful words and gestures, he realized that it was about time he moved forward with his life, that what we’ve been doing is wrong and maybe he felt he wanted to start things right with somebody else. he said he’s starting to want to know this girl from the cheer team. though admittedly, he’ still stuck with his admiration, love and connection with me.
I have not contacted him for almost 9 months. I would like to send him a Christmas card; should I? He is seeing someone. (she is married and left her husband to be with him.) He had told me that is why he did not want to have a relationship with me; because of timing, his seven year friendship which is now a relationship with her. Advise please? I feel he still thinks of me. I could be wrong.
My ex and I broke up a few weeks ago because he started hanging out with new friends that I never liked because they are all bad boys. After 2 years and 6 months in the relationship he suddenly changed his mind about us. He started texting other girls which he said was his friends he even had pictures of them on his phone. I didn’t like that at all because I saw that these girls are starting to like him. So basically it was my fault he broke up with me for being insecure, clingy and not trusting him. He told me he doesn’t want to be in a serious relationship right now but he still loves me. He wants to explore life without a girlfriend and not wanting to hurt me when he meet up with new girls and such. I really do love him with all my heart, and maybe he just needs some space to think, or maybe our relationship got a bit boring. I am so willing to follow these steps to get him back, I’m so not going to lose him to a bunch of girls!
